When you’re brushing your teeth at your house, it may be difficult to know if you got every single spot. And we all know that no one likes going to the dentist. The Tooth Guardian, designed by Chu-Che Chang, Yu-Hsin Lin, and Shang-Hsuan Lu is the new way to make sure you get every spot while brushing. All they did was put a camera system into your toothbrush.An LED light is actually on your toothbrush and it lights up your mouth. The part that captures what’s going on inside your mouth is called a micro CCD. The tiny camera looks at all your teeth while you’re brushing, and then projects it onto the bathroom mirror. Now, you’ll never miss a spot. Another new feature is a UV light sterilizes your toothbrush when you’re done with your daily brushings. As of right now, the new toothbrush is just a concept they’re working with, it’s not actually being sold to anyone quite yet.
I can relate to this new invention because I absolutely hate going to the dentist. I agree with the inventors, it is a good idea. But, I could see it having a lot of problems working, just like all technology does. And I see it being expensive, and I’m pretty sure a lot of people buy cheap toothbrushes from Walmart and places.
